After four seasons at START, Helmut Lang has definitely established itself as one of our favourite brands, with standout pieces including sheer leather trimmed silk shirts, cashmere knits and beautifully draped dresses. The asymmetric lines replete in the PRE SS12 collection were inspired by a series of photographs by Jan Kempenaers that capture the mysterious beauty of Spomeniks, monuments erected across the former Yugoslavia to commemorate World War II.
