A Taste of What’s to Come… /

Excitement is mounting at START HQ as we get ready for the launch of the Fashion East Collaboration this Wednesday 18th April. Our womenswear store is ecstatic to be showcasing some of the most exquisite pieces we’ve seen by the talented up and coming designer James Long. You’ve heard (and seen) us wax lyrical about the collection, but as yet we’ve only leaked snapshots of the garments. As the launch is upon us, we thought it only fair we give you a proper preview of a few of our favourites. Enjoy!

The collection will be available to buy in store and online for a limited 2 week period only, between 18th April and 2nd May.

Fashion East Event /

START would like to invite you to our Fashion East Pop Up launch party this Wednesday 18th from 6pm – 8pm. Join us for an evening of music, courtesy of our favourite DJ Hanna Hanra, Proseco and fun as we celebrate the beautiful craftsmanship and talent of these two up and coming British designers.

The collections will be available to buy in store and online for a limited two week period only, from 18th April – 2nd May.

Dress-Up London Fashion Week: Day One… /

Day One of London Fashion Week sees START favourites Preen and Zoë Jordan, amongst others showcasing their AW12/13 collections while the world watches with bated breath. With a busy day ahead,  START’s ever wonderful Assistant Buyer, Rosie Croft, took a quick pit stop to tell us how you’ll recognise her today for our first installment of Dress Up London Fashion Week:

‘”Printed trousers and lemon yellow. Finally the trends I’ve been wearing none stop since the age of 3 are in fashion and taking this season by storm. Though the sentiment is still there, luckily my style has become more refined over the years. SONIA’s star print trousers are particularly fun and this Alexander Wang Rocco in lemon yellow will have to be surgically removed from my side. And even if the grey, overcast sky isn’t bright enough to warrant sunglasses, I’ll still be wearing my Acne Frames!”

We’ve teamed up with halcyonic Australian brand We Are Handsome to giveaway £500 worth of We Are Handsome goodness!

The £500 prize will include a swimsuit from each of the collections so far: The Pictures, The Aviary, The Memoirs and The Vintage.
